At this year's Winestock, all of the participants will have the opportunity to taste wines made by their fellow wine makers and vote on their favorite wines. This event will occur on Friday, September 28, 2007 from 9 pm to 11 pm. We will give awards to first, second and third place in each of the following categories:

• Best Red Varietal Wine
• Best White Varietal Wine
• Best Country Wine (Any non-grape wine)
• Best Desert Wine

The wines can be made from scratch or from a kit and the awards will be as follows:

• First Place - $30.00 gift certificate from The Wine Maker's Toy Store and a Certificate.
• Second Place - $20.00 gift certificate from The Wine Maker's Toy Store and a Certificate.
• Third Place - $10.00 gift certificate from The Wine Maker's Toy Store and a Certificate.

To enter your wine, we request 2 bottles to make sure as many people as possible can taste your wine. You can either bring them with you or send them in ahead of time. Even if you are unable to attend Winestock, you can enter your wines by sending them to the following address:

Please label your entries with only the following information:

Type of wine - (Muscadine, Raspberry, Merlot, etc.)

Category

Your Name

We will assign a number to each entry and replace your label with our label. After the judging is finished, we will post all of the entries with the assigned number and vintner. If you keep good notes, you will be able to determine who made that outstanding bottle you so enjoyed.

We will ask everyone to vote on their top three of each category. Each first place vote will receive 3 points, second place will receive 2 points and third place will recieve 1 point. We will total the points to determine the winners.
